It is quite unnecessary to invest on VIT/MEN since you have rings and armors to supplement your HP and DEF/MDEF but it will be up to you! I've only recommended on going for power build. Vit increases Physical Def and HP, while Men increase Magic Def and SP. We have to be careful not to be caught by any attacks or at least cast a heavy skill before they get near.
